Alex Rice – Angel
Alex, who has trained extensively in both Los Angeles and in Montreal, has
starred in numerous feature films such as Skinwalkers, Lewis & Clark:
Into
The Great Unknown, Doe Boy (American Spectrum Selection, 2001 Sundance Film
Festival), and The War Bride. Her television credits include the miniseries
Dreamkeeper, The Sopranos, Strong Medicine, C.S.I., and Spin City.
Simon Baker – Randy
Simon virtually grew up in front of a camera. His experiences in film and
television have seen him star in three seasons and the MOW of North Of 60,
earn a First Americans In The Arts nomination for Best Supporting Actor
(1999) for his role in Smoke Signals (Best Picture/Best Director 1998
Sundance Film Festival), and in the Academy Award nominated Sweet Hereafter.
Other features include Now & Forever, Shanghai Noon, Once In A Blue Moon,
and Back To Turtle Island. Series include The Crow, Nothing Too Good For
A
Cowboy, Two, and Hawkeye.
Katharine Isabelle – Stacey
One of Canada’s fastest rising young stars, Kate has starred in numerous
feature films such as Turning Paige, Ginger Snaps, Bones, Josie And The
Pussycats, Disturbing Behaviour, and most recently Shot In The Face, Due
East, and Insomnia. Her television credits include guest leads in The Chris
Isaak Show, DaVinci’s Inquest, First Wave, The Net, The X-Files, Madison,
Goosebumps, Lonesome Dove, Destiny Ridge, and MacGyver.
Gordon Tootoosis – Floyd
An established actor with an impressive resume, Gordon’s list of credits
include feature films such as Alaska, Pocahontas (both the live action
picture by Protocol Productions and the Disney animated feature), Legends
Of
The Fall, Reindeer Games, Call Of The Wild, and Leaving Normal. Some
selected television roles include Due South, North Of 60, Lonesome Dove,
Northern Exposure, Danger Bay, Airwolf II, and Friday The 13th.
JR Bourne – Cliffie
JR has made a mark for himself as one of Vancouver’s busiest actors. Feature
film credits include The Favourite Game, Cover Story, 13 Ghosts, Josie And
The Pussycats, and Sea. His television experience is lengthy: Young Person’s
Guide To Becoming A Rock Star, Jeremiah, Big Sound, Beggars & Choosers,
Outer Limits, Stargate (seasons 2, 3 and 4), The Crow, Two, Madison and
Strange Luck among many others.
Brent Stait – Wade
Gemini nominated in 1998 for Best Dramatic Performance in a Featured
Supporting Role for For Those Who Hunt The Wounded Down, Brent has continued
to demonstrate his talents on both the big and small screen. Feature films
include The Sheldon Kennedy Story, The Roswell Project, Mystery Alaska,
Nights Below Station Street, Titanic, Excess Baggage, The Heist, and I Still
Dream Of Jeannie. Television includes Andromeda, Outer Limits, First Wave,
The Sentinel, Stargate, Due South, F/X, Poltergeist, The X-Files, and The
Highlander.
Tina Keeper – Charlotte
Gemini Award-winner in 1997 and nominee the two preceding years for Best
Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for her
portrayal of Michelle in the North Of 60 series, Tina Keeper is one of
Canada’s most celebrated aboriginal talents. Tina has also starred in the
NFB’s Educating The Offender, and Smoked Lizard Lips. She remains involved
in theatre and committed to her community, frequently speaking at a variety
of high profile events.
Renea Morriseau – Glenda
Renea is versed in all areas of acting, be it for screen, radio or stage.
Her film and television credits include recurring roles on both Nothing Too
Good For A Cowboy, and North Of 60, as well as roles in Living With
Monsters, Back Roads, Cold Squad, In Cold Blood, The X-Files, and Neon
Rider.
Margo Kane – Dolly
Film and television credits for Margo include Dreamkeepers, Circle Of
Friends, Poltergeist, Hawkeye, Good things Can Still Happen, Mom P.I., Black
Stallion, Higher Ground, Danger Bay, and Beachcombers. Margo is a writer
and
performer for radio as well, having penned the one woman show Moonlodge for
CBC Radio, and performed Ecstacy of Rita Joe, Cancion/Columbus, Asleep In
The Grave, and I Heard The Owl Call My Name.
